Miss to see Mark Chang live in person? We have captured 20 minutes of him on video, all together 2 parts below
Part 1
Part 2
A very humble person, Mark Chang shares his story from being a factory employee, to an entrepreneur with series of trial an error before getting into JobStreet. After 15 years of running the business, there is no indication of him taking a break, despite all the fame he has as the CEO of a listed company. There are gains and losses throughout the time line, like making some money on a sideline start-up investment, and losing some money by purchasing MOL’s stock at its peak. A great strength of him to fight hard in the market, as often he does not know too much, or does not worry, about the backing of some competitors. He treats many of them as just another player in the industry. Most often a typical business person might retreat from the battle, knowing the opponent is a multi billion company with strong backing, even though the competitor’s product or service is nowhere par to those of that person. As Mark said, he might not have ventured into a different county without the backing and the expertise from his various investors. Although he is good at what he does, but would have better off leave the tasks of figuring out the office lease agreement in Philippines and employee payroll in Indonesia to other people. I guess focus is his motto.
